I purchased the original Tag Editor for $28.99 in early 2019. I used the program constantly, and found that Nick was promptly supportive of any issues that I came across. When he made the decision to go to a subscription model, I evaluated how much I use the software, and how much I want it to be continually updated. It was not a difficult decision to subscribe.

This app is amazingly useful yet simple to use. It is great when things just work. If I may make a wish, it would be to be able to increase/decrease text size to accomodate old eyes.

This app is a literal lifesaver! I've never been great about organizing my audio files until I found this app. There is a bit of a learning curve but when you spend enough time with it and develop a systematic workflow with, you'll be so glad you downloaded this! And the paid features are solid too. Only thing, and I'm being really nitpicky here...if you have an optional sample rate column, why not have a bit DEPTH one in addition to the bit rate option? Even if it were read-only (as it should be), that would be absolutely massive, especially for pro audio engineers who don't want to tempoarily close out their screen to find it in Finder, etc. Overall though, this app is super helpful and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to have a working system with their audio files!!

I happily pay for “To MP3 Converter” so when I needed at tag editor to replace iTunes, I downloaded an editor from the same vendor. The copy/paste functionality is great and while I haven’t quite mastered the app, it does exactly what one expects. Sure it asks you to subscribe, but it keeps working and I did what I needed right now without paying. But when I need it for more than my current little project, I’ll be glad to license it. This is the kind of app we need more of. A small app that does one thing well.

Für mich ging es in erster Linie darum die Zählernummern durch den Künstlernamen zu ersetzen, bzw. copyright, Albumcover usw. Plattformübergreifend ergänzend eintragen zu können. Tag Editor erledigt das mit nur wenigen Klicks und benötigt keine 10 Sekunden. Für mich hat es sich jetzt schon gelohnt! Vielen vielen Dank!!

I find the program is great, and I would like to upgrade to the paid version for additional features but I UTTERLY REFUSE to subscribe to a program! The pernicious creep of the subscription model must be fought at ALL COSTS! I would BUY the program for $50 before I would pay $35 for a 3 yr subscription! I have a program (never upgraded) I still use that is 13 YEARS OLD. Imagine what I’d have paid in subscription costs! And what happens if the publisher goes out of business? Your software stops working! No! Nein! Non! Nyet !

Tag Editor is exactly the program I've been looking for because it does almost everything I need. However, I hope it's being maintained a little better now, as it seems to have been stagnant for about 8 years. Tag Editor is super easy to use and very intuitive, however, I miss the ability to mass select single standing columns (multi select) and not just continuous selections in the table, but otherwise I think it is an incredibly good program with lots of potential. And no data collected, what not to like ! :)
